Emotion Contest- Say what?

"It was a mistake to come here," snorted the young mare now, hot air filled in voice as she took heed to the purple vines climbing over a pair of large trees. It wouldn't be long before this part of Greece would be infected by the Plague, and so close to that of the great sanctuary also, "Not to mention, it seems as if you have been the only impressive stallion within miles now, Aie."

An emerald gaze glanced over towards his companion, ears twitching at the other's voice now and he merely blinked at the comment that she had made. Aie found himself unsure of what to really make of it, and as long as he had known the Pegasus, the topic that had just been mentioned always appeared to be the one on her mind.

"Cr-Cr-Cronos?" he asked now, a slight timid edge to his voice now as he caught sight of pale cerulean eyes resting on him, "W-Why are you al-always looking for a st-st-stallion? D-Do you w-want a m-m-m-mate?"

A smile came to her face, "Screw having a mate, I just want to have a foal."

"W-Wh-What?!"

Indeed, it had been quite the reaction to see her companion now come to a halt so fast that he practically jumped, only managing to keep one stable hoof from leaving the ground, kicking up dirt in the process now before the black unicorn was once again back, safely back on all fours, although, it looked as if he were still slightly gawking at her, mostly due to words and age. Her smile quickly turn into laughter as Cronos shook her head slightly, causing white and blue locks to fall into her vision .

"Cro-Cronos! T-T-T-Th-That's in-intimate. H-Ha-Having...h-having s-s--"

"Sex?"

An odd sound escaped the unicorn, clearly flustered by the topic, almost looking exhausted about trying to talk about it, and the young mare could see this as she inched close towards him and brushed up against him slightly, a grin still resting on her features, "Don't worry, Aie, I'll make sure that he's a stud like you, there's no way I'm giving my foal some defected and weak genes."

"Y-Y-You st-stole my e-e-ear's vir-virgin--virginity," Aie managed to comment exasperatedly .

More laughter continued to escape Cronos now and she tossed her head lightly before sliding away now, and soon, the land had been filled with bubbly laughter and half hearted complaints that one shouldn't tease him anymore about the topic at hand.

Before anybody says anything, my mare is not a whore XD She has her reasons for wanting to have a foal, I just didn't feel the need to explain this considering that this is a contest pieces and there's no need to give away her story. Besides, this is mostly about Aie anyway's.

But anyway's, this is my contest piece for FreeSpiritMustang's emotion contest, and the more and more I think about, I tried really hard to follow the helpful hints to win or whatever, and now, I find myself sitting here that I totally neglected them, which kinda makes me pissed off at myself XD But, I slaved over this picture for six freaking hours to the extent where I do not feel motivated to draw myself another piece for a while, besides, I'd feel like a cheat trying to do multiply entries. I totally messed up on the background colors with the grass.

Although, I have to say, even for myself, and I usually don't gloat about my coloring because I still suck at it, that I'm pretty impressed with my grass, for, I made those tiny blades of the grass in the background and only got bigger as they moved forward with the horses...I think the tallest is like, a centimeter or something.

Yeah, anyway's though, I totally lacked originality on this picture, minus the fact that I have speech bubbles exclaiming their situation, and yes, that is what you think it is behind those triple X's for Cronos and keep in mind that I definitely toned down her talk for the story merely because I was afraid to offend somebody. That would be all I need, to offend one of my friends. I love people on here too much to really want to do that. But yeah, I probably picked about the easiest emotion ever to draw, it was probably shocked, or at least, I think it's shocked, I don't think that the topic or picture is really bad enough to be considered 'dirty' XD This contest has made me realized that I have to work on my facial features though, clearly the hardest part for me I have discovered. BTW, he's only shocked because in human years, Cronos would only be considered fifteen or sixteen.

AND EVEN WORSE!
I totally forgot three scars on Aie's leg. That pissed me off. I didn't realize it until after coloring.

But enough of bashing myself, I do have to say, that in the end of all of it, even though I most likely will not place, I am proud of this picture because I put a lot into it -nods- it was almost like doing a trade and it's always good to try and challenge yourself, even though I hate doing so.
